I agree with VD,not just for Hatton's recent loss but his run of fights before that was NOT p4p. Him being on the list just shows that there are alot of Hatton fans here who let their bias take control. How can Ricky Hatton be on that list and Ivan Calderon,2 weight, unbeatemtons of defences and faced lots of top fighters NOT be on that list.

Because he received one vote from the twenty surveyed.

    Hatton received recognition Caledron didn't.
The list is a representation of Saddo's as an entirity. The only way you can alter the list is by attempting to infleunce the participants before the next vote.

Yes Caledron made 4 out of twenty lists in the lower half of three of four lists.
So he appears in 20% of lists, 75% had him in the lower half of their list.
Going forward this left him with a 22.5% chance of making any list.
Thats before you consider that other fighters are being considered for the list.
Factor in the fact that other fighters made nearly every list and scored quite highly on each list, means that the general comnsensus was that they deserved their place more than Caledron.

Same. I didn't have Hatton on my list. But honestly, while I had Calderon on there, the fact that he's at light-fly pretty much tells the story. People don't often recognise the lower weights, and he hasn't really fought the big competition down there yet.

As I said, the only way this list will be infleunced is a hguge amount of canvasing and lobbying before the next survey.

Anybody that has Hatton on the there p4p list doesn't know boxing. He should be removed. Your calling this list "The Finalized Saddoboxing Pound for Pound Top Ten". Guests and people from other forums are going to look at that and think "damn them posters at Saddo don't know shit. They got Hatton on a p4p list." Your making the forum look bad.

    1. Floyd Mayweather Jr.

    2. Manny Pacquiao

    3. Bernard Hopkins

    4. Joe Calzaghe

    5. Juan Manuel Marquez & Miguel Cotto

    7. Israel Vasquez

    8. Kelly Pavlik

    9. Rafael Marquez

    10. Ronald Wright

Look I have revised your list. You cannot have 11 fighters in a top ten list. Thats ludricous.
When 2 positions are tied, then yes you can have joint 5th, but next one becomes 7th.

Really what you should have done was in the event of a tie, see who had the most 1st place votes, if there were no first place votes, then who had most second places and carry on until they were seperated.

Hitman you should get all 20 who voted to vote on juat Cotto & Marquez again thus creating a true 5th & 6th ranking.

Anyone who didn't vote should have to wait til next month

I love the way you say doesn't know boxing... what just because they have a different opinion to you, now what they don't know anything? I have Hatton on my P4P he beat Tszyu who was ranked #4 by Ring mag at the time & his only lose is to the best fighter in the world currently!

Wow. I actually thought pretty highly of you as a poster. I thought you had good boxing knowledge. Imagine my disappointment at reading that and finding out you don't

Sweet bro I know what I need to know!

Tszyu was a P4Pr & a future hall of famer!!! Hatton's only loss was to Floyd at a higher weight. Hatton is still potentially the best guy at 140, he needs to take the fight with Witter to try & re-establish that!

Although Calderon has the potential to make the top 10 he's not there yet. He never fought the best guys at 105 - Niida or Eagle. His win over ring champion Cazares is impressive I agree but others dispute it. He needed the rematch or a victory over Solis to solidify his position for me.
