That is your opinion....Wlad would have fought Sanders again but alot had to be changed about the way Wladimir fights.

Freak losses like that usually happen to boxers and sometimes they don't get rematched it's just the way things are.

Here is the way things happened:

Sanders wanted big money and he had already beaten Wlad...Vitali was the man on top then, he just went toe to toe with Lewis and fought his ass off. Sanders let the WBO belt go after beating Wlad and he went for the money and the title vacated by Lennox Lewis because he was an out of shape power puncher with not many years left....he had one trick, it worked one time. Sanders didn't want the rematch at that time, he wanted the money....so in the mean time Wlad rebuilt his career and Sanders basically retired after fighting Vitali.

Wlad lost to Brewster, Sanders took a 2 year layoff and Wlad came back to win titles again and Sanders also came back and then got KO'd and now he's fucked everything up.

The pieces for a rematch never fell into place....Wlad may still fight Corrie though, you never know
