I actually don't know who I'd favor in a Jones - Miranda fight. Jones could obviously outbox him the majority of the time, but if Miranda could time him with that big right hand it could all be over.
I'm actually not that impressed with Jones really, beating an over the hill, blown up, inactive Trinidad does not a comeback make.

I think Jones looked pretty good actually, regardless that Tito was blown up and inactive. He's still a hell of a lot better than David Banks. I seriously would give Miranda very little chance against Roy Jones based on that form. I also think your not giving due to the fact that Roy could easily land a big right hand of his own and Miranda would be on queer street at the least, and Roy would obviously be more likely to land the better shots. Roy is still way too good for Miranda to actually beat imo, though it would be a hell of an action fight.

I just don't see what Miranda has done since being KO'ed in a one sided affair against Pavlik, to make him a legitimate threat at SMW. We all knew he had great punching power, what has he actually proven to the fans, that would suggest he isn't the same fighter Pavlik beat down? I just don't see it, Roy Jones would murder him.

I would have to disagree with you in regards to a Miranda - Trinidad bout, Tito would get murdered. But the more I think about a Jones - Miranda fight, the less of a chance I think Miranda would have.
