I have Marquez moving down to number #6, in front of his brother Rafa.
Do you think he lost the fight then?
It's weird for me, I think Marquez edged the fight, and I thought it was one of the best fights of the last few years.........

But I dunno, I thought both of them were disappointing in some ways. I think they both looked vulnurable and honestly believe Juan Guzman would outbox both of them.

They probably stay where they are p4p but I think Calzaghe is a better and more dominant fighter than either.

Pacs record speaks for itself. He's p4p #1 right now. You can argue that floyd is #1 all u want but looking great against mediocre to good competition doesn't compare with looking great against great competition.

You guys are a bunch of bias fans that are willing to keep floyd at #1 no matter how little he does or how much the REAL fighters do. I still don't know how good floyd is and neither do you because he doesn't take any risky fights.

Beating a version of DLH that had 1 fight in like 3 or 4 years and knocking out Hatton who continually came in with his hands down asking to get KTFO hardly qualifies as p4p worthy.

It's simple math, Pac is deserving of the p4p crown.

I think beating De La Hoya at 154 is a bigger win than Pacquaio beating Marquez by controversial decision, especially when you factor in the amount of damage Pacquaio absorbed.

And hatton was the undisiputed, undefeated junior welterweight champ and Floyd simply annihilated him.

Pacquiao won by the skin of his teeth, at least three quarters of people here think he lost. There were several times he looked out on his feet.

there's no comparison,Floyd isa different league altogether.

that and the fact floyd has been at that weight and won a belt there.

pac vs floyd at that weight? floyd would KO him no question.

A win over DAvid Diaz next will surely make Pacquaio the only boxer who has 4 belts in 4 divisions.

That's history in the making. We better watch it guys coz when I get older and will be telling this history to my grandchildren, I would be such a proud grandpa to have witness it all.

Uhhh what? Maybe I'm just misunderstanding what you are trying to say, but Mayweather gained a belt in 5 different division I think and Jones also managed to get 4 belts, and going from LMW to HW is much more impressive than what Pac has done (not to take anything away from Pac's great achievement). However, I think I may have misunderstood what you are trying to say.

Biased? Moron? Man you guys know less about boxing than I originally thought.

Well everyone knows how much the truth hurts pretty badly so I guess I'll try to empathize your pain.

BTW, none of you guys have enough boxing knowledge to ever put me in my place and that becomes more evident with every passing post.

Think about it, on one hand you guys are trying to compare floyds resume to Pacs and hoping they will be matched against each other, while on the other hand, you have a REAL boxing fan with ACTUAL knowledge hoping to see floyd fight the best challenge out there in Cotto.

You guys have rolled snake eyes with every excuse regarding floyd not fighting Cotto.

Who's left for Cotto to beat?

He beat Quintana who beat Williams who beat Margarito who beat Cintron. You throw Shane and Zab into that mix and you have yourself the real undisputed WW champion.

Well its pretty simple answer to your question P4P is not only about opposition, its about skills as well and lets be honest here. P4P Mayweather is much better than Pacquiao in every department except for power. Plus Mayweather has had more quality wins that Pacquiao has.

    Genaro Hernandez
    Carlos Hernandez
    Jesus Chavez
    Diego Corrales
    Jose Luis Castillo x2
    ODLH
    Angel Manfredy
    Arturo Gatti
    Ricky Hatton
    Zab Judah

    Manny Pacquiao has.

    Erik Morales x2
    MAB x2
    JMM
    Oscar Larios
    Jorge Solis

Now those 3 names on Pacquiao's record are very impressive, but we are talking about a whole career here. And its pretty easy to see Mayweather has beaten more quality opposition than Pacquiao has. He also has more achievements than Pacquiao has winning 5 world titles in 5 different weight classes. Plus i don't see why Pacquiao should move to number 1 after getting a very controversial decision against Marquez in which more people think Marquez won than the other way around. Where as Mayweather dominated a P4P fighter in his last fight against Ricky Hatton and KO'd him. I think your just looking at those 3 names on Pacquiao's record and basing it on that, and your not looking at Mayweather's or Pacquiao's whole careers. IMO its not a hard question to answer Mayweather is rated higher than Pacquiao P4P because he has more quality wins than Pacquiao, Mayweather also P4P is a better fighter than Pacquiao quite easily IMO, Mayweather also has more achievements.

Marquez was able to box & counter punch Pacquiao many times through out that fight, Floyd would have a ball & do it with ease!!!

With all of the world class fighters he has fought, surely that only emphasizes how great he is. You've just pissed on your own bonfire there mate

Pac is not pound for pound the best fighter in the world. He lost against Marquez and he looked poor against Barrera (though he won that).
