Default Should , Mayweather continue inthe Top of P4P list in this Year 2008?

Should , Floyd continue in the Top of P4P list ? Or Pacquiao made enough for occupy the place? in this Year 2008 , as we know Floyd don't going return to the ring until Sept. where will face with ODLH in 154 pnd. again , so we could speculate that he just going make only one fight in this Year playing the game with ODLH and avoiding competitive fight in WW Div.....What you all thinks guys?

Hmm interesting point. The only person with a chance i believe is Hopkins.

Calzaghe beats Hopkins and the consensus will be 'so what B-Hop was 43'

If Hopkins beats Calzaghe tho....it could propell him to #1.

Cotto can't get there because there isn't anybody for him to beat that would solidify his place....other than Mayweather.

Pacman was very lucky against Marquez and he could end up stuck with a third fight which wouldn't do much as far as moving up the p4p rankings. Other than that there is Valero and Guzman. While both are good fights.....they aren't p4p'ers. In theory he could move up to 135 but now that Diaz isn't the top dogg, there isn't anybody for him to beat who would move him to number 1.

And plus, a win over the Big Show would outshine anything that any fighter could do over the next 12 months.

Nah seriously i'd have to seriously consider moving B-Hop to number 1 if he beats Calzaghe. Just can't see it happening.

Good thoughts Ono I share that sentiment.

I don't think Pacquaio could ever be p4p number1 unless Floyd gets beat, he simply has to many hole in his game.

Hopkins could possibly claim the number 1 slot with a win over Calzaghe seeing as he was p4p number himself until the first Taylor loss.

The only way PBF can be dropped out of #1 for me.

    1. He looses
    2. Joe beats Hopkins, and then any 2 of these guys Pavlik, Winky or winner of Tarver-Woods.
    3. Pac beats the top dawg at Lightweight

Till someone even comes close to even looking like they can beat floyd i have no problem with him being on the top. Not only can no one beat him right now...i don't even think anyone has an idea of how to make a fight with him even close...the de la hoya thing really upsets me about him, but it really doesn't matter who it is he's in with. We get all built up thinking someone has a chance..just to get forced back into reality after he beats whoever. Just my 2 cents.

I think the question will be does "The Big Show" become PFP#1 if he beats Mayweather at Wrestlemania?

I LOVE Floyd Mayweather. That being said, if his only fight is against Oscar De La Hoya, then absolutely not. You have to fight the top guys in your division and De La Hoya is in the top of the Junior Middleweight division by default. 154 is a weak division.

unquestionably Mayweather should be at the top, because he is better than anyone else. People are mentioning Calzaghe, but he isn't any better than Pacquaio, and he surely isn't as a complete a package as Mayweather.
