Wow! that's an OLD article...
I think I've seen that article on here about 4, 5 times...

Anywho...
I always say the same thing... Pernell must be the fighter with the worst luck in boxing history. I mean going by what's written and said he would have gone undefeated and would have retired undefeated also. Cause for starters he was robbed in all of his loses and the Draw. Then the other loses he has don't really count cause he wasn't the same Pernell and was past it. But would he have won those fights instead of loosing it would have added to his legacy but since he lost they don't count.

As for the worst decisions here's some Decisions on fights I saw live and not replays years later. I saw these fights and instantly knew they were bad:

Silverio Ortiz vs. David Diaz - Ortiz put on a clinic on this night and it's the worst I've seen live.
Miguel A. Huerta vs. Almazbek Raymkulov - At most Almazbek won 4 rounds and that's being nice.
Pernell Whitaker vs. Jose L. Ramirez I - Wow was this bad. I had Pernell by 3 rounds.
Lennox Lewis vs. Evander Holyfield I - Disgrace.
Jose Santa Cruz vs. Joel Casamayor - You saw the fight this was horrible.
Carlos Navarro vs. Derick Gainer - Terrible decision.
