    just curious my friend
    I concur.

In hindsight....wins over Paulie and Quintana look good. However they are not career defining fights. They are just solid wins over solid opponents.

Beating Judah proved nothing to me as Baldozar and Mayweather had beaten him to it.

Beating Shane was a big achievement.....but that wasn't a prime Shane Mosley.

He has a stella record, but he hasn't really shown me that he has the tools to beat Mayweather. I'm not saying he won't beat him, i'm just saying i can't see it personally.

Yep Macho, lots of people (fans, media, commentators, critics, etc.) want Cotto vs Mayweather, no doubt. Thinking about it, who else with a big name and in the same weight is left out there?

Pacfans too . We say that.
How about Pac fans wanting to see Pac get in the ring with Floyd, Hatton, or ODLH? Somehow, I like pressure fighters against Floyd and if they were at the same weight, I rather see Pac against Floyd than Cotto.

OK is true, he showed signs in some fights , but he proved what you are really wanted see holding a good shots from his opponents , we will speculate what really PBF can do to Cotto by his skills , but Chino Do you think how will look the signs of PBF? Hey guys we have to think in that too.......
You mean, what signs we'll see on PBF if he fought Cotto? I hope we see Floyd exposed really. Wishful thinking but oh well. Only two have challenged him to a questionable loss (Castillo I) and a close split-decision that could have gone either way (ODLH).

He defended maybe but NEVER won a title from a boxer all vacant and to say Floyd is afraid is pretty damn ridiculous when he jumped to 154 and fought Delahoya knowing Floyd was fighting almost 20+ pounds over his natural weight and gave every advantage to Oscar: choice of Glove, weight etc. Not for nothing but aside from Delahoya tanking it from a Hopkind bodyshot he has never been in the trouble or shows as many flaws as Cotto has in his career.....
I agree JT. That's what I tried to say about how Cotto has shown flaws in many of his fights unlike Mayweather.
