Alright they!I think it was a mixture of finding it hard for him to make the weight and having some personal family problems due to him losing out in the IBF challenge to Steve Mollitor back in November 2006.I watch him fight at lightweight last month in Petrerlee and he looked tired and he did'nt look as sharp as he did at bantamweight.Shame really because he was exciting to watch and he had plenty of heart and really liked to get into a battle inside the ring. He's retired at the age of 29.I'll always remember the top quality fight he had with Esham Pickering for the European title.Good luck to him in the future.

Yeah it would of been a great fight mate if it was pulled off.Shame!I watched a couple of Hunters fight in the Bourgh Hall in my and his local town,Nice place for top quality boxing. If i could'nt make the trips for his away fights i always made sure i was in me local pub watching him on T.V.He was a really hard fight who had plenty of heart and guts.Gee what a fight that was with Esham Pickering for the EU title. What a fight Hunter fought that night.I'll always remember that one!
As far as i know Hunter in planning on helping young kids get off the street corners and into some kind of scheme, which is good!Good look Hunter all the best in the future.
