I really don't see this as that big of an upset....most of us were real skeptical of how great Lee really was and vera was 15-1 so it really wasn't that big of a shocker, i admit i was one that got caught up in the hype but anyhow.....Problem one was lee was told he was too great too many times to early in his career. That being said i'm not so quick to crap on the kid either, there were a lot of positive things i saw from him last night, he fights on the outside great, has good movement, is pretty smart among other things. He was in with a guy bigger and stronger and once vera realized lee had superior boxing skill but his power was way overrated it was just a matter of time. The stoppage was fine and lee's look after his intial half assed "WTF" reaction told it all. No way he could stick and move and avoid being caught for another round. Also vera did slip in what was called a knockdown in the first as a sidebar. With as many shots as lee took the fight would have been over much earlier if hit by someone like say codrington. Jaidon hit vera a whole lot less but took him out in the second round, lee hit vera tons but never really looked like he had vera hurt so who knows. I'm very intoxicated so i hope at least some of this makes sense, just wanted to chime in.
