What a great fight, andrade can roll punches with the best of them hard to tell when he's actually hurt or not.

yeh,he really showed some versatility and actual deceptive defense.Had never seen Steinglitz before but he was tough and had some nice sharp shots.

plus andrades backflip he might be much more of an athlete than we give him credit for, but his fighting style certainly doesn't show it. Good fight if cal-hop is half as exciting as tonights matches were I'm just going to love it!

I think it was a real entertaining fight...I'm a bit disapointed that Stieglitz didn't win,but he didn't do enough...should have jabbed more...At least he sold himself well enough...
And Andrade is made of granite...again he took some big shots in this fight to no effect...and pressed forward relentless through out the fight...great action, good fight...

It was a damn! good fight....

Back and forth action all the way through.
Steiglitz did all he could as far as conecting. I agree a jab would have done him well. Librado was just on one last night as honest as I can be that's the best I've ever seen him. Putting punches together 3 punch combos and all.

I liked how Librado tells the camera post fight as they are taking out his mouth piece... "Hello to everyone in Canada, I love you"
Hes well aware that he's gonna have to travel yet again into someone elses backyard to fight for a title. Lucian Bute whos the IBF Champ fights out of Canada.... You gotta love Librado for that.

For those who missed the Librado Andrade interview here it is it's a must read... Very entertaining.

I found it funny when Lennox Lewis said he's seen better ones. Like his big ass can do one.

Lennox can never give credit where credit is due....
Anytime someone says anything good about a figter he steps up and says thing like "Well he can do better" or "it's not as good"

Impressive fight. Andrade situation with his arm is bugged out. He would rather roll punches with his face than get hit in the arm because it sometimes goes numb. Freaky.

    Awesome fight.

Andrade is one tough dude no question. Brass balls on that guy for sure. I keep waiting for the bottom to fall out of him and his chin to fail but he just keeps rolling along. Gotta respect that.

I was getting a bit annoyed with the commentating last night when they kept going on and on about how limited in skill Andrade was, even saying that some viewers would question why they aired the fight when Andrade was putting on a very good performance and doing so in pretty good fashion. It was like he was slighted the entire time through.

I thought Andrade looked very good in there, much improved from his fight with Kessler and his activity level was through the roof in this one.

He did a lot of things right. He was spacing his punches nicely and he was working both from the outside in and from the inside out, always mixing it up. He used long straight punches like the jab and cross to get moving inside and then the short hooks and uppercuts to create space and get outside, then would rinse and repeat. Textbook stuff. The left hook landed at a bunch of different lengths and he rarely took a step backwards.

Stieglitz was just working off the inactivity of Andrade and Andrade didn't provide a whole lot of downtime. Even when Andrade was just doing busy work, pitting and patting, Stieglitz remained on the defensive. He did have some good combinations in there but they came to far between one another to be effective.

It wasn't until the final couple rounds when Stieglitz actually tried to punch in between the punches of Andrade and by that point the damage had already been done.

In what is now a wide open super middleweight division, you have to factor Andrade to be right there in the mix. Of course it'll be tough for him to make up any ground on Kessler but I can bet that there aren't too many guys who would like to see Andrade opposite them in the ring. He looked good last night.

Very well put amat... I sent some Rep. your way for this.

That sums up the fight right there you pretty much covered it all.
I agree that it felt like the HBO team were down playing Andrade even as he showed skills putting punches together and attacking the body.

I hope he get's a shot at the title soon.
