I said it before, and I'll say it again, Gomez's head has swelled beyond belief with self importance ever since he beat Gatti.

And since he signed on to fight Cotto, his self importance has gotten even worse, to the point that I have lost so much repect for him.

Watching his self promoting video is vomit inducing.

I think that's a bit harsh Diane. He's justifiably proud of having vindicated himself through beating Gatti and proving he wasn't just a reality star and he's obviously proud to be facing Miguel Cotto and confident of his chances.

But I've never heard him trash talk anybody or belittle his opponents. He's a million miles away from the likes of Judah, Tarver, Hopkins etc.

i still see him as one of the good guys of the sport. He conducts himself well I think.

The thing is Bilbo, I know a lot about Gomez, things that you don't know or haven't seen. So, of course you wouldn't understand my view. Trust me I used to be a fan of his when The Contender came out, but my view of him has changed, because of things I have come to know, and from work I have done with someone from his team. I'm not just basing it on this one cheesy ass video.

I can hear the excuses now...oh I was sick in training camp, oh they weren't filming me from my good side when I was k.o.'d by Cotto. That was possibly the cheesiest video I've seen in awhile. I think it was probably more nerves that made his pancreas swell.

Fair enough I don't know any more about him than his appearances in front of the camera
