    Default Willow Vs. Bilbo

Last night for "Easter" my girlfriend rewatched Willow for the umpteenth time since it came out in 1988. This was the first time either of us had seen it in over 5 years and it was a pretty good watcn on the DVD format.

Anyway, it struck me how ridiculous Willow himself looked running around sideways and looking bigheaded and clumsy. Of course they used midgets to play the "hobbit" type race in the movie.

This got me thinking about how shitty the LOTR films would have been if the Hobbits were played by midgets. Can you imagine trusting the fate of the world to a midget?! What a laughable idea that would have been.

Then I decide that the next time our Bilbo complains about the rep system we are going to petition Saddo to change his user name to Willow.

Hobbits are slightly taller than Willows.

I thought this thread was about who would win in a hypothetical fight. Very disappointing.

I'm trying to figure this one out anyway... I'd have to watch willow again, but from memory didn't he have a bit of an attitude??

He got pretty firey when the big guy called him "Peck"

I'm in full agreement though that LOTR would have been like a parody if they used midgets for the hobbits..

For the record, I'd like to defend my boy Bilbo.... I can understand his reasons for whining about the rep system. That was actually logical.

However, Bilbo, we must give Saddo a chance to test this rep system.I know he knows what he is doing. As an administrator of my site, I can empathize with Saddo.......it's really difficult to please everybody!!!!!

Saddo really had been doing great in the adjustments he had made and let us just wait til the potential problems you have been complaining will happen. By that time, I know, it will be very easy for Saddo to make some adjustments again.

And then... you can badger us by telling us that you've warned Saddo already.

By that time, we will be giving you reps willingly

It's cool now Saddo explained the new system for me. In time the rep points will disappear, still there but just under the hood so to speak and the important number will be our punch power.

We will still have a problem in a few months when our punch powers will be in the hundreds of thousands but Saddo has said he will tweak things then.

    So it's all under control.

So how did that work then did he hold his baby or did she hold him?

Seriously a whole family of midgets? How bizarre! Do they all work in the circus?

Should have known your gypsy lifestyle would mean you knew all the midgets and carnival freaks!

Nah just kidding I bet they were a really nice couple.
