To make money outside of boxing and get into wrestling because his kids are big fans of it and he wanted to do it for them. fyi he aint really getting 20 million dollars. Floyd's been a boxer since he was a child, god forbid he decide he wants to make some money outside of boxing and do it for his kids who are huge fans of wrestling.

You still didn't answer my question but I answered yours I don't think you have an answer so you tried to change the subject the question still stands. Next
Well twinkle toes to answer your question, let me run it down for you since you are a little slow at times.

Tony was busy chasing PBF around for about a year and he wasted his time doing so because Floyd ducked him.

Cotto just moved up to Welter beat Quintana, Urkal, Judah
A fight was getting made to face Tony when out of no where Paul Williams calls out Tony.
Tony turns down the Cotto offer and fights Williams.
Tony loses and has to get back in line.
Tony has his chance. If he beats Cintron which he should.
We will see Cotto/Margarito by the end of the year.

    Why is Cotto fighting Gomez?

Floyd wants Miguel to get as much exposure as he can right?

    Gomez is known world wide.
Contender was shown on every continent.
Floyd will no longer be able to use the excuse that Cotto is not well known.

Floyd went into wrestlang to avoid fighting Cotto.
    PERIOD!
All this talk about Floyd's kids 'Michael Jackson' Now you are creeping me out. Stop making excuses for Floyd.
    End.
Maybe you should be the one that stops making excuses for Cotto.

So the reason Cotto is fighting Gomez is to get more exposure? Wouldnt fighting Margarito..you know a THREAT that you claim Floyd so notoriously ducked give him more exposure with the whole "If Cotto can beat the guy Floyd ducked Floyd would have no choice but to fight him."

Seriously Danny_G you're like a run on sentence making up excuses for one fighter that you use to bash another fighter.

I could own you in every debate we have but it gets rather boring after a while. You're logic is flawed as you would bash Floyd for taking an exposure fight yet christen Cotto for it. You're like the stereotypical fan so deep into their own fighters hype that they will make excuses from here to kingdom come. I aint making excuses for Floyd, you however are making excuses for Cotto and every opponent he HASN'T fought, sounds like desperation to me Done!

Danny, you sound like you're trying to convince yourself that Floyd is ducking Cotto more than anyone else. I think that you don't want the fight to come off really because you believe that Floyd will do a number on him. (Not saying that will happen, but it could). Just wait until early next year and I think you'll be finding that these threads and video's have been a waste of time. Have patience, the fight will come off.
Ah good find man! It's ironic how back then nobody gave Floyd any chance whatsoever of moving up all these weight classes and then challenging and beating Oscar.

Yet when he not only does it, but breezes it with his 0 safely intact they still find reasons to put his achievements down

If I did not want this fight, I would not be saying anything.

Right now from where I stand, Floyd Fears Cotto.

Larry Merchant: Does this mean you wont fight a Miguel Cotto? A young up and comming strong fighter THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU IN WITH.

PBF: Miguel is a one hell of a champion.

(Why was Floyd so careful here?) He normally bashes fighters Oh yeah, Cotto was sitting ring side and would have jumped up and smacked the pretty biatch around.

PBF: I'm not trying to call out no Welter Weights.

He just wants to hang onto that belt as long as he can with out facing a real Welter Weight? We are going on two years sweetheart. That thing must have dust or mold on it by now.

I wonder how long before we see and hear Floyd crying again about how he is retired. You know the way he did it with Tony Margarito.

People call me crazy when I say Floyd ducked Tony and they say the same thing to me when I say he will also duck Miguel Cotto but the evidence and the proof is there. You can't deny it.

Kind of how Cotto made a living picking off the remaining carcasses that Floyd already beat.. Seems that Cotto has a little hero worship in him huh?
Sorry to tell you but Floyd was unable to beat many of those so called carcasses. Floyd would dance with to 12 while Cotto was destroying them.

You might want to check how many fighters ODLH beat down first and then Floyd came around and fought them. Also check how many of those same fighters were beat by KT and then come at me bowl legged with this comment again.

Truth is, Floyd was dumpster diving in both ODLH and KT's garbage can.

    NEXT.
If Floyds been dumpster diving than Cotto's been bobbing for tampons then... Cotto has never beat a fighter for a title all his have been vacant as well as he never beat a young star fighter in his prime or a PFP one for that matter.....

Floyd beat some bums with belts.
If I recall correctly, everyone who saw the first Castillo fight, thought Floyd lost. Corrales was a bum RIP. Gatti was shot and older than dirt was beat down by ODLH 5 years before PBF.
Baldomir was a slow ancient mummy whom Floyd ran from all night. I am not impressed. I am glad to see that you are. With the help of some crooked ref, Floyd beats Hatton. Still not impressed.

The videos, posters, pictures and things are funny, irritating to others but nothing wrong with people backing thier boy.....this stuff is like deja vu, we've heard all these same claims songs, puppet shows whatever just yesterday it seems. Just take out hattons name and put in cotto. Cotto's a great fighter and who knows anything could happen and maybe he beats floyd one day. But till that happens all the talk is just that. We've heard this through thirty something other fighters and we'll probably have to sit through it for a few more, cotto is the greatest thing in the world to some right now, but the interesting thing will be to see what is said about cotto when he looses the same way everyone is great before floyd beats them, and then too old, inexperinced, cheated, or whatever after. We'll have a ton of threads saying "while pbf was busy wasting his time with cotto he was ducking _______ . And this silly cycle will start all over again with someone new that can't beat him. For a guy that ducks cheats and his hated so much one thing is for sure, all these guys get built up as the next great david to beat golliath, and all that does is take 59.99 out of the pockets of people that hate floyd....and that's the bottom line. The people that hate him are his best advertisers, with all thier silly claims.
Hidden Content Click clack ! Give up the purse.........or yetti will find you.

You have to be kidding me. No way are people still on the Margarito tangent. Judah might have ducked Margarito. Mayweather didn't. Plain and simple, there paths didn't meet and that was the fault of no one but Margarito. Margarito lost and it wasn't to long after he called out Mayweather that he did. He sat on his hands for a year and then lost. He wasn't ducked, he was passed up in favor of bigger money and more significant fights. That's it. I want to pull my own hair out.

He isn't ducking Cotto either. It wasn't until about 4 months ago that Cotto even put Mayweather's name in one of his sentences! This is ridiculous. Now I want to see this fight just as much as the next guy, and I fully believe this is the fight that will happen but there is no reason to rush it. If it happens in 09, it'll be just as big, if not bigger then it would be if it happened tomorrow. He has all the time in the world to fight Cotto, not so much to rematch De La Hoya. And worse rematches have been made before.

Please, enough of this. I can't take much more, it's so aggravating when you see the same topics over and over and over. There is just no reason for it. This isn't directed at you Danny because I love your videos, like most of your post and think you're an intelligent guy but just to everyone in general. I can't count the number of $8 Million Dollar Chicken topics we had and now more of the same but this time with Cotto.

However, there is a distinct difference between Tony and Cotto. Cotto won't just sit on his hands and wait for a big money Mayweather fight to fall in his lap by exciting the internet junkies with trash talk, he's above that and gives fans what they actually want, FIGHTS. That's a big reason I think this fight will happen to because Cotto is actually interested in building his star by fighting instead of talking.
