Cortez to referee Calzaghe/Hopkins fight

This is great news for Joe IMO...

Cortez came under so much flack for the way he handled Hatton becuse before the fight Hattons holding was a big issue

before this fight Cortez's anti UK and Pro American fighters is a big issue and he has proved he takes too much info into accunt and goes in with his plan set.

He will let Joe get away with murder you watch

Do u think if Cortez lets Joe get away with murder that all Joe's fans will admit it?
Do u think all the guys who said Cortez was anti British will take it back?

its tough being the ref.........just like in football.....if the ref gives a penalty the, one team loves him the other hates.......... i hope cortez uses his years of experince and does a good job, we dont it to be like the last time where people spoke more about the ref then the fight its self

Remember Hatton-Floyd was a Golden Boy do like this one. Would Hopkins be stepping in that ring if he didn't have EVERYTHING in his favour?

Hopkins is 5 years past his prime and yes Calzaghe's win will mean... not much really, i know i know. But if Calzaghe loses he's exposed, right?
