You and Andre seems to be real crusaders for abused kids. I thought it's only in the movies where kids get abused at some institutions. It's probably a bit exagerrated in the movies, but some of them must be true, sad to say.

Did you hear of the death of Martin Lee Anderson? The drill sgts. jumped on him and eventually he died. It was not a WWASPS program he was in, but stuff like this (supposedly) happens all the time.

So the guys who're supposed to protect or reform the kids are the ones who're abusing them, huh? Reminds me of a supposedly true movie (the author insisted it was true while the officials denied it) which I watched several years ago about young criminals. It starred Brad Pitt as the ex-juvenile delinquent and the bad guy was I think Kevin Bacon, the jail guard. Several kids were maltreated and raped by the jailguards, living in nightmare. But the good part was when they grew up, some of them became gangstas and ultimately got even with the Kevin, who was I think the head of jailguards. So those stuffs are not only for the movies afterall. Something must be wrong there.

Do some research on WWASPS. You'll find some people who give basically horror stories about being in some of those camps. No, it's not just in the movies.
