Cotto deserves a gimmie Isnt he the heir apparent to Mayweather or something? Do you see Margarito taking a gimmie(technically yeah because he's just gonna make Cintron cry again)

But if Mayweather took an easy fight people would be barking to high heaven that he is ducking Cotto.

Cotto gets an easy fight and its because "he's earned it"

And if a Cotto fan tells me "thats different.. Mayweather is the number one p4p and Cotto just got here" then you're basically admitting that Floyd can't duck Cotto because you're admitting Cotto aint ready

He has just come off of consecutive fights with Judah and Mosley. I dont know what Mayweather has to do with this.

Just to continue it, Mayweather just came off a fight at 154 with De La Hoya and a fight with Ricky Hatton doesnt he deserve some time too?

Seriously tho Judah was closer to being a gimme then a mega fight imo. As was Oktay Urkal. Paulie and Quintana look much better in hindsight.

Fighting Gomez is no better than Calzaghe fighting Manfredo....and he took a lot of shit for that. Fair is fair.

Still, i'll be happy if he follows it with a fight against the winner of Tony - Cintron.
