I really don't think Floyd would give up his undefeated record just for some extra cash, I mean come on hasn't he got enough money already?

If he can end his career undefeated it will be something no other top fighter has ever done (Marciano exluded). To any fighter, especially one with the ego of Floyd that would be an ultimate achievement and worth millions of dollars in itself.

He wants people to look back in 50 years and talk about him retiring undefeated.

I'm not saying he won't lose the fight, as Oscar is always a formiddable opponent but he won't throw the fight just to secure a trilogy.
