That was the worst decision I have seen in my entire boxing life, and I have seen alot of bad ones... I hate to say it, but was the fix in? There is just no possible way that any legit judge can give that to Phillips. Robbery!!

Of the 8 rounds I saw, I would have to give Spinks 5 or 6 of them. Phillips only landed sporadically.
I never saw the first 4 rounds, but from what I have heard, Spinks was winning them.
Spinks landed a good punch on occassion, but for the most was just swinging wildly with his head down. Spinks controlled the tempo entirely, outboxed him almost every minute of every round. Spinks' hand speed was won him almost every exchange. I didn't much like the pompous ass who was announcing either, but I had it 10-2 Spinks.
Someone give me a worse decision in a major fight?
Phillips landed one punch on occassion, excuse me...
Yes, Santa Cruz-Casamayor was equally as bad...thanks

Cory was taking alot of punches where it just didnt look like they landed flush because he leans away alot and has great balance. He was rocked a few times where I saw him have to hold on. Verno never was rocked, he may have had floppy legs but he's 38....Controlled the tempo, oh do you mean backing up constantly and mainly countering? I gave alot of close rounds , and there was alot of close ones to Verno. Only real clear rounds to me were a few where Cory just outboxed and wasn't hit much, and the I'd say 3 rounds where Verno had Cory rocked a bit.
Wow, pretty shocked to hear that. Good for Verno, I can't say anything about the decision but Verno's one of those guys that I think of when I think of a true professional fighter that had to work for everything he got, not a silver spoon in your mouth type of HBO boxer.
Can't say anything about the decision but I'm just glad to see Verno get one more good payday, Spinks will get another shot, more than one, he's still young.

Sorry Daxx, with the exception of Santa Cruz-Casamayor, none of those are even remotely as bad as this decision.
You want another bad decision... O'Neil Bell W12 Dale Brown. Remember that one?
