ODLH or Hatton?... Possible future opponents for Pac?

dang daxx, calm down. pacstraight says one sentence and you murder him you, bilbo and even pacstraightleft all have a point. your right about oscar not needing other fighters to make a lot out of any fight but pacstraights and bilbos point is that the bigger the name the bigger the purse factor will always apply.

for example: you say oscar will likely earn more then pac has ever earn in oscars coming match against forbes. well don't you think if pac,hatton or any other more well known fighters is in forbes situation, don't you think that would make more?

The Bigger the name the bigger the purse factor will always apply, EVEN FOR OSCAR! thats just the whole point really.

When I can find the vid, I will show you an interview of oscar stating he does indeed consider fighting pac. When this year began, they already had it laid out.

Pac vs. Hatton would be a war. This wouldn't be as big a mismatch as most there think.

Once Pac disposes of David Diaz he'll be ready for the Hitman. Granted of course, that the ref won't condone any of Hatton's holding.

Fighting Hatton will be his retirement fight. My heart will be for Pac but my prediction will be for Hatton by early KO.

Watching how smaller Gerry Penalosa KO'd big Jhonny Gonzales by holding up his gloves high and patiently pursuing the constantly attacking Jhonny all day while digging into the body, I thought, hmm, ODLH - pac fight might not be that farfetched, after all. Of course Jhonny is no Oscar. But then, Oscar is well past his prime, while Jhonny is still in his prime - that sort of even up things a bit. And again, Penalosa is not pac either. So somehow, the equation seems to match up a bit. If Hopkins did it with one shot, why not pac just go on holding up his gloves high all day and keeping banging the body. Maybe what Bernard did with one, pac can do it with 10 or even 20. Yup, highly unlikely but not totally impossible as you all know that anything can happen on the ring. Call me nuts, a fool, a fanatic, or a pac nutSucker if you wish. Maybe that's what I am.

Fighting DLH would set Pac for life while fighting Hatton would be Pac's chance at the higher echelons of the all-time list. I do not see how this is such a bad idea for Pacquiao, who seems to be losing interest in boxing anyway. Why not strike while the iron is hot?
