Hope and pray Tarver gets DQ'ed. It's the only chance Woods has to win

Smother him from the bell and get inside with tight defense turn it into and ugly fight inside and be first to land something of substance. If woods stuns him he needs to capitalize and not let him recover. I think if he smothers him and doesn't let him take a breather with good inside work rate and defense he can take this fight. If he stays outside there is less chance for him to win and more chance for him to get hit with something big.

Yea even though i don't think Woods is great by any means he is still a solid fighter, he has a lot of heart, and he is tough and keeps coming. If this was a few years ago then i would have picked Tarver without hesitation. But Tarver has looked garbage in his last few fights and to be honest he has looked like a shot fighter for quite a long time, so yes im picking Woods.

Woods allegedly is a better fighter than he was when RJJ beat him. I hadn't seen him before that and I haven't seen him since. That being said, the Tarver formula is simple: pressure and negate the left hook. If Woods can make Tarver burn himself out he can beat him. Tarver beat Glenn Johnson (effectively) with pitty-pat shots and playing keepaway. Woods needs to step inside the reach of those long arms and make him work to get him off. Dig to Tarver's body frequently and the Magic Man will look more like Merlin as the fight goes on.

Clinton Woods will have to have a high tight guard during the early rounds of the fight and watch out for Tavers left hand,in doing soo,Woods should slip the left hand of Tarver and fire back the old 1-2s to his cranium and maybe follow up with a left-hook to the body.Im a big fan of Clinton Woods and a feel that with every fight he has fought he has got better in his ability to dominate and win a fight clearly. He fights great on the counter by throwing the old 1-2s.I think he'll take Taver down in between round 7-10.
