I have met him and he was a really nice chap actually.

No we ain't either desperate or in need, and I for one am in no way a fan of Witter, he's over rated, even if only by himself lol, and not much more than a average plus fighter with a unusual style .... but we got a little unknown fighter here in Britain that's not too bad and also unbeaten, I find it comical that you should use Hatton as a analogy for us Brits .... when using a analogy, use the other Brit I'm talking about .... Nobody is in love with him, but I will say I once walked into a room with him there. He has this incredibly bright aura around him. It was like he was in God Mode in Quake 2.

I dont love Witter, I am a big Hatton fan but I have gained a lot of respect for Witter over the last few years,

he missed his chance to fight hatton a few years ago because the fight didn't make sense but now he is a world champion

And I think we would all agree I would rather see Hatton Vs Witter at the City of Manchester than Hatton Vs Lacuzwho

Planning a fight for next year is dangerous witters getting old Hatton already has to put up with people saying he only beats washed up fighters why give him the excuse

I dont buy the fact Hatton needs a warm up fight after coming off a defeat to Mayweather he is too strong mentally to let it affect him against Witter I think this is the money men getting nervous

...too broad of an assumption most people U.S. or not dislike witter. Hell most people out here don't even know who the hell the guy is outside of true boxing fans. I am getting sick of people viewing boxing as a f**ing popularity contest we all have a favourites but the best should fight the best and while it may not be perfect we have world champions and rankings to identify the best

I wouldn't say I am in love with Witter. He is not even in my top ten of favorite fighters out there today. I just feel that based on what he has accomplished at 140 that he is deserving of a shot at Hattton more than anyone in the weight class. You may say he is not in Hatton's class or that Ricky will KO him, but it deserves to be proven in the ring.
