I like the defense but you went into a little bit of a shell and that makes it look like the other guy is getting the better of it when he may not be landing clean. In that 3rd you did good by letting him punch himself out abit and then came back with some good combos. I'll watch the others tommorrow it's kind of late now. You mixed in some good combos on the inside. Work on your slipping and head movement.
Yeah I wasn't doing so well in the first fight because I had NO legs whatsoever, so I pretty much did what I could do and blocked, that isn't my style really at all. I totally think I looked horrible in the first fight and I really started to question how well i was gonna do from there...but I got back to the gym, changed my training up a little and everythings been falling into place ever since...the way i fought the last three fights if pretty much how I fight in the gym, so that would probably be the best thing to critique, thanks a lot though for taking the time to post, i appreciate it

First fights are always the shakiest. Always.
TRhen if you get through you're fighting on an entirely different level for the next fight, I can relate!

thanks macho i appreciate, haha trust me I love having stamina lol thats y in the last fight I paced myself alot more, in the third however i felt good and i just wanted to come out hard so i pushed it, but im training myself to be a little more agressive, which to go with that I need more stamina, so i added a little more interval training, different drills and stuff, so we'll see what happens haha

You improved alot in the second fight all of the things I mentioned above you did better. I like the in and out, and you did some good evasive inside moves. Good lead left hook right cross combo. The other guy didn't block too well but you rocked him alot and good job on getting the stoppage.

Third fight you got a little sloppy, but I think you were trying to take him out, and kind of abandoned technique just a little. The left hand drops a little, don't get in a habit of that, otherwise not bad.

You looked tight in the first fight. You were luck to have good judges who can tell the difference between a landed punch and a thrown punch. The guy outworked you, but you hit him with some great counters, especially left hooks to the body.

You looked like a whole different fighter in the other bouts. Much better. Man, that third guy was holding a lot. Great job, all around of not heading hunting and doing the body work when it was there. That's probably what kept you winning - a good high/low attack. It opened up the head for you.

I agree you should use your jab more. Better boxers won't let you walk in and tee off on them with those powershot combo's. You need to jab your way in more. Also, be careful about squaring up your body. One of the days you'll get in with somebody who likes to bodypunch and he'll take advantage of those openning.

You looked great for novice. Keep it up man. You have talent. Good handspeed and a fighters mentality. I'll rep you. You may be the first person to 100 reps and under 10 posts.
