“If you even dream of beating me you'd better wake up and apologize.” Muhammad Ali.
Sturm has become a complete joke of a fighter if you ask me. He has a title and consistently has been fighting cannon fodder in his backyard. Abraham is doing a similar thing, but he's still fought better opp than Sturm, and more recently. He has also at least shown interest in fighting top guys in the US. To be fair to Sturm though, since one of those guys meant to pad his record KO'ed him, maybe he just realizes he's not that good and want's to make some safe paydays. What doesn't sit well with me is that he may feel since he was shafted against Oscar in the States, he may as well never fight a live body ever again, let alone leave homeIt's an extremely poor excuse for him not to travel, as his stock still rose incredibly after he fought Oscar. If he had looked to pursue some other contenders he could have been right in the mix. Probably just as well for him that he's taken the safe route, as he can't really fight too well.
I will give Pittman this much credit, THE BUSINESS MAN is one of the best boxing names going on right now
Sturm is trying to build up his confidence I think.
Its his damn management under Klaus Peter Kohl...I think Sturm could and would step it up,but as long as Kohl(and to be fair also Sturm) can make money with letting Sturm fighting no names(that doesn't automatically mean they are bums though)nothing much won't change...The same happens with Erdei,Dzinziruk and will happen to Arslan(cruiser) and probably Chagaev...
The Klitschkos were also under Kohl management and as soon as they could they got out off their contract even though that probably had more to do with money issues than the quality of opponents, but still...
The only promoter(and manager)right now seated in Germany and willing to let his boxers fight anyone is Ahmet Oehner(even though he is a jackass)...

The fact that the WBA would even sanction this fight for the title just shows you how big of a joke they are. Pittman has had 16 pro fights: 5 of those fighters had 0 wins and another 4 of those fighters had losing records. And the people on his record that are left aren't all that great either.
Doesn't matter now, "Mr. Business" just got knocked out in the seventh.
