Thats one side of the coin. On the other hand a change of trainers can be huge.
    Look at Manny Pac
When a trainer leads his fighter to championship status winning in big matches what's the reason for change, Taylor had just beaten a P4P top three boxer in the world back to back which lead him to a championship, wins don't get any bigger than that why the need for change. Cotto has as well won big matches and is a champion, there is no need for change.

I'm not sure what to think...i become used to pretty much ignoring drastic reports that come out the week of a fight but who knows. But and undeafeated fighter on the brink of getting in the ring with boxings best fighter doesn't sounds like a guy who doesn't need to change anything. He got where he is one way, and right before a possilble fight with floyd there may be a change I hope not, i'd give him even less of a chance.

This is all just hype to bring discussion of the Cotto fight to the forefront. With his wide odds, most people are looking past the Cotto/Gomez fight (not me), so they release this type of jabber to get people's panties all in a ruffle.

Cotto Sr. already explained the whole thing. Cotto came to NY early; Evang had other plans, so he met them in Atlantic City mid week instead of NYC. That's all.

And we are playing into this stuff... look how long this thread is!!!
