Mijares KO/TKO
Munoz KO/TKO
Mijares UD
Munoz UD
Mijares SD
Munoz SD
Draw
I think Mijares is on the cusp of a big break out.I'll pick him over Munoz and a Montiel Fight would be a great clash of styles.
You have got to be kidding me? Right?
"His fighting those guys coz he know he can handle 'em."
Are you serious man?
He's fighting those guys.... WTF? Like "those" guys are just some random names.
He's fighting la creme de la creme only other person high up there is Montiel and even then your riding off Montiel like nothing.
I know your loyalty lies in the PI but come on man, Nonito did have a big break out last year and all but the kid hasn't accomplished nearly as much as Munoz or Montiel have. I love me some Nonito and if you run a search on his name you can see I posted he'd do well in the future and that I couldn't see anyone at Flyweight beating him.
Now because he hasn't accomplished half of what they have done this is NOT saying he (Nonito) would loose to Montiel or Mijares or Munoz. But you can't ride off Munoz or Montiel by saying "those guys" like their nobodys cause they've been at the top for years now.
I'd also like to know in what fights you've seen "Cochulito" showboating I'd like to see them myself?
And your last comment I agree with it 100%, as you can see how much Navarro was able to connect on Mijares now add that to the fact that Nonito can punch and it spells trouble BUT don't discredit Mijares or Munoz or Montiel by insinuating that Miajres is fighting them cause he knows he can beat them that is ridicules.

I'm not discrediting Mejaris or Montiel. It's just that they haven't really face the best out there.
Montiel got over confident with Luis Melendez in mid-rounds,.. he showboated, got knocked down and almost cost him the fight. Did you see his face after that fight?
He had a controversial SD decision with a mediocre fighter Gorres too.
So Mijares & Montiel haven't faced the best out there.
For Mijares (aside from Montiel) name a higher regarded fighter other then Munoz?
For Montiel (aside from Mijares) name a higher regarded fighter other then 'Gallito' Castillo?
You wont find them cause those 2 guys are/were top 1,2,3,4 at one point prior to the fights that took place.
Being confident is one this being Naseem Hamed in the ring is showboating. 2 different things...
Melendez was game for Montiel and he fought his heart out that night and theres nothing wrong with having a live opponent in front of you.
I say this often fighters are quickly written off after a bad performance so Montiel had a bad fight Gorres... But OK, did you see how he blasted out the highly regarded 'Gallito' Castillo?
About the Gorres fight, yes it was a close fight Montiel looked lathargic and moving up and down in weight will take a toll on your body but he got past it and if you can't see that Mijare, Munoz, Montiel along with Castillo, Navarro, Gorres, Kirilov were the top guys at one point and some of those have already fought eachother so how can you say they haven't faced the best out there?
I know nothing about Munoz but for some reason Mijares gets more nuthugging than any other fighter in the world on this site.
Guys like Floyd and Calzaghe and beat the best in their divisions and all the time remain unbeaten whilst receiving nothing but criticisms whereas Mijares whose already lost and drawn recently can take on sub 9 stone men who fight in front of 5000 people on obscure undercards for $3000 and he's regarded as a living legend.
I hope Munoz knocks him out just to silence all this 'Mijares is the truth, he won't be beaten for 10 years' type crap that gets posted on here![]()
Obviously the answer to that is NO ONE. You know why?.. coz Nonito is no longer there. They kept ignoring Donaire and got tired of it. They left him no option to shine in that weight class and had to move down at flyweight. Don't get me wrong. All I'm saying is give Donaire a chance to be in that level too. IMO, Donaire can expose "those" (I'm not discrediting) fighters' weaknesses.
