Oh that was back in the Philippines when I was about 4th grader. My uncle told me he was deliberately stolen by pigeon breeder. He flew with others into some dude's place. He got "captured". I didn't feel betray or anything like that coz it's pigeons natural behaviour. They are not loner.

MAybe you read the sign wrong and got one of them homo pigeons instead of a homeing one
