Am I the only one who doesnt care for Margarito?

I dont know just something about him just doesnt rub me the right way?

I mean im glad that hes more exciting to watch than the average fighter, he throws mad bombs and combos galore.

It may be the way he carries himself however? I think he got lowsy sportsmanship. Off the top of my head I really was offended with the way he did not concede and hug it up or even shake Paul Williams hand after losing to him? I thought that was really up there in some of the more UNsportmanship like behavior in the sport.

Last night when he was taunting Cintron telling him to get up so he could beat him down some more, now thats gotta go! I can not stand that.

I think as a fighter Margarito is slightly above average and is a more exciting fighter to watch than most others, but I do not think he is a great as ARUM hypes him up to be.

Anyways I hope COTTO knocks his asss out if not PBF so we can be done with him.

You echo my sentiments entirely about Margarito. Firstly, I didn't buy into the massive hype so I watched some of his matches against cab drivers and thought 'ok fair enough' but every match I've seen him in against elite or near elite he hasn't looked good.
Then his behaviour after the Williams fight was deplorable. Terrible sportsmanship to call the fight a robbery. Not a guy I like and I hope that Cotto mops the floor with him and smashes his ribs. I just hope Cotto's new found confidence/arrogance was just a one off in his fight with Gomez because he knew that he was in a different league. He can't afford to be walking into Margarito with his hands down and winding up his punches ala Roy Jones. He needs to go back to being the cold calculated killer for his match against Marg.

i dont think we have to worry about cotto getting to cocky and flash showboating. i think youre right he just knew gomez was not on his level, but even so cotto didnt go over board with the showboating IMO.
