I'm all for talking trash to hype a fight, but I don't think racial remarks should have any place in modern day boxing. What if Calzaghe said something like "I'll never lose to a black man" or "I'm knock him back to Africa", ect ect.

I can't fault Bernard for saying it because controversy sells, but I think its disgraceful that this is what people need to sell a fight now adays. I think its enough to know that an undefeated champion is risking his record and reputation by fighting a modern day great.

no calzaghe and his father HONESTLY dont know that tapping something ISNT punching, and they think that if calzaghe does LITERALLY that same thing (just tapping in the direction of hopkins) it will counteract hopkins defense
