Also, I probably would have smoked that whole pack of cigarettes in the elevator. Seriously that shit isn't right.

I would perform a McGyver with the elevator phone.

Lol, I feel ya'; but you'd probably be busting a route to the nearest pottie room and snack machines before anything

hE should definitely sue the building management. Guys im sure they knew he was stuck and theres usually intercoms inside elevators. I think they just took so long to be able to get the elevator normal. Thats why he was stuck there for so long, not cause nobody were watching the camera.

In our buidling the longest ive heard a man getting stuck was in a freight elevator, it only lasted 2 hours. This is insane 40hours! that will definitely leave mental damage. He will prolly never use an elevator again.

I don't know, the lights on all the other cars went black for like 8 hours overnight and you can see him open the doors, knock and then listen to see if anyone heard him.

Yeah I was also disappointed that his elavator light stayed on at night. Imagine how much more terrifying it would have been if were plunged into total blackness from 6 pm to 6 am. If they could have added in some banging noises at night from above the liftnand maybe some loud shreiks and moans it would have been the most horrific mental torture imaginable.

And there's no doubt in my mind that some South American tv prank show has probably done all of the above and more!

Haha yeah that show was crazy.

I can't believe he didn't even smoke his cigarettes. What restraint, stuck 40 hours and still with the decency to not smoke or piss all over the place.
