The knockdown meant a 10-8 first round. Fair enough. It was competitive for the first 4 rounds but Calzaghe found his rhythm and took control. Hopkins didnt offer very much down the stretch at all....he was just awkward to hit. And hit he was.

Watch the fight again without blinkers and booze...a clear Calzaghe win and by a significant margin.

And Calzaghe was not hurt in the 8th at all. Nonsense.

Dont know why ppl are suprised B Hop was holding,using his head n moaning about low blows etc,he's been doing it 4 years,its part of how he wins fights.I expected more of it tbh! Im suprised he did'nt cut Joe with the amount of times he waded in with his head.
