Yeah, it sure looked like Joe was "having a blast" last night. I think Joe won, barely, but no one has a blast fighting Hopkins.
So you can't get knocked down without getting hurt?
Sure you can. I didn't say Joe was dead on his feet; but that punch did hurt him some. You said he was never hurt in "any way whatsoever". I'd call getting your nose split open hurt "in some way"; if you want to play semantics.
So, by your standard, Hopkins got hurt, because his face showed it when he clinched like a leech after getting pummeled by Joe. Also, the fact that he uncharacteristically ran so much means that he DOES get hurt by Joe's punches.

Hopkins face showed the punishment? Point me in the directions of these pictures. You're an absolute knob at least LondonBB could make a post objectively, there is nothing like a nuthugger.

I hardly call what Joe did last night a pummeling

Hopkins clinches in all his fights; and likes to draw people in by making them chase him. I only saw a couple of shots that buzzed Hopkins, but he wasn't really hurt, nor was Calzaghe, as I stated.

Whaddya mean talking sheet? Look everywhere around you, the sheet is the unabashed HATE going on around here, with posters who can't GIVE A GUY HIS PROPS, calling him feather-fisted, his opponent was old, or lying that Joe was a dirtier fighter than Nard, etcetera, etcetera. I mean this sheet is downright INEXCUSABLE.

With all due respect, seriously man, alof of it is that you are new. I know that may seem hypocritical, but it comes across as you lighting fires underneath people's feet just for giggles.

I understand your side, and I agree Calzaghe doesn't get enough credit for his career, but you make it seem as though he is a be-all to end-all. Sorry about my above post, I got heated for a minute. Just be proud of Joe, as haters are everywhere and you can't change people's minds, no matter how hard you try.

At no point was Hopkins hurt in this fight.

He took a number of flush shots from Calzaghe which demanded the mandatory step back or wobble, but at no time was Hopkins in danger of staggering or suffering a knockdown.

Hopkins has an ATG chin, that has been established a number of times.

After the seventh round Calzaghe had Hopkins tiring, but he was not in danger of being knocked down even then.

Its not running short-bus,Hopkins fights off the back foot and looks for positioning, done it for years.News flash ....Every time you get punched in the face.....You feel it to one degree or another.every fighter gets "hurt" in many aspects

It is odd to see this much fervor against a guy who LOST THE FIGHT! Is this some type of vindication celebration.Do you think you spend more time pointing out Hopkins perceived faults as opposed to Calzaghes Positives? You are a wind up merchant looking for a fight ...thats all.
