Have to see what he looks like, but if he keeps some power, he could make things interestin, but as you stated, might be a little too late. Call me crazy, but I'd like to see him whip Tarver.

I'm interested in what he does, it's anyones guess how it'll go. I doubt he'll be a devastating puncher, abd the adjustment in speed for offence and defence will be huge compared to the pondering giants he's faced, but you never know. Should be able to take the punches.

Tito BHB I would give Byrd love if he did not bore us rigid as a heavyweight. Sure he was small and showed good skill to hold a version of the title but he did suck.
It would be a miracle, but I would love to see Byrd come 2 light-heavy, and become a destroyer. It's not in his nature, but he has good d, and he's been taking the big-boy hits for years, so i doubt if he would get KOd. He should just go for broke, every fight at light heavy. Not only would it make him more watchable, but he might get into the big picture quicker. What am I saying, I forgot, it's Chris Byrd, that will never happen, but it's nice to dream sometimes.

He definately adds another facet to this division. Light Heavy looks like the meeting place division for all types of talent for the rest of this year.
I think Byrd will find his punches are much more effective at 175, I look forward to seeing him fight.
