I have been thinking about buying a PS3...I am not much for XBOX. What do you guys think?


I want to play Assasin's Creed, anyone have anything to say about that?

Do not buy a PS3, I had both consoles. The 360 is much better. Assassins Creed bricks on the PS3(Doesnt' work) and is solid on the 360. The 360 has better net working.

My problem with the 360 is that every single person I know who has one has had to send it back. Every single person literally, my entire circle of friends have had to. Screw that, if they can't make a product right I would be more willing to get a PS3 at least the product is made right and that has to count for something.

Yea it bricked on me four times, But they fix it for free. PS 3is having the same problem with out a waranty to fix it, BTW Xbox pretty much sorted that problem out. I had one since launch.

Well I was speaking to my brother tonight and he tells me it's absolutely awesome.

Yes you have haircuts and a whole lot more besides. You can date girls and actually choose where to take them. My brother went bowling with one girl and then took her to some seedy back street hole to play pool. The second time he met her she told him he was dirty for wearing the same clothes as last time!

At the end of the night he was able to take her home and bang her, although apparantly you just hear the groaning from outside the room rather than getting any visuals

You can buy property as well, the internet is in the game as well and you can go online within the game world to order vehicles and accessories (not the real online world, the simulated online world within GTA)

Apparantly the graphics are awesome and the fights are supposed to be really good. Whilst I was on the phone to him he was fighting some guy armed with a knife in a bar. He tried to grab the knife and pushed the guy into a window, which then smashed and he threw him out of it!

It sounds absolutely awesome from what he's saying so you'll likely not be disappointed.

Make sure he doesn't go online or Microsoft will not be happy with some of his newest achievements. When Halo 3 got leaked, they banned all the Live accounts that had Halo 3 achievements early.

ha he's an experienced hand at dealing with Microsoft's shit. They have bricked his xbox 3 times and banned his live account.

He always manages to repair and remod them though and then sell them on as modded for more than the cost of a new one. Then he buys another and mods it himself, quite a clever lad really, just a shame he applies himself in such a geeky way

What is a modded Xbox Bil? Chipped? Is there anyway to play copied games without getting an Xbox360 or PS3 chipped? ie PS2 and Dreamcast had a swap magic disc. Much safer imo. Chipping wears out the lense.

I just read a review of GTA IV on ign.com.

it got a 10/10. Seems like one of the best games ever!

I really want to play this now. I feel like a 5 year old trying to wait for Christmas morning.
