Thanks for the comments. After working on the mitts two of the coaches were talking about putting me in the shinjin (newcomer) amateur class at some point ,either welterweight or light welter, depending on what weight I can get to.

The problem is with sparring. There are no adults at my level, all the adults are basically pros and they spar together and take it seriously.
Any new adults that come usually quit after a month or two so I never get anyone to spar with, and I am too strong to spar with the younger kids. Although a new bloke has just joined who looks like he can handle himself and if he sticks it out I will try to spar with him. When I sparred with a pro last time I got a proper kicking and was covered in blood. Saying that the pro and the coach thought I did quite well.

But, I am determined to have a fight at some point, just to say i did it. If I fail to do it,it wont be for lack of trying. It would be for medical reasons or a lack of talent.
