Since this is all speculation and opinion - Holyfield would hurt Haye badly. He was one of the great fighters of our generation, an incredible athlete, and an equally incredible human being.

Holyfield by brutal beatdown - and he would probably pay for Haye's hospital bills afterwards.

Would the Hayemake beat the Real Deal or would Evander be to much for him?....

IMO Holyfield takes him to school before scoring a brutal KO....

    anyone else?
Before answering I'd like to ask....

    When is Hayes prime?
    Is he in it now?
    Has it passed?
Has he not even reached his prime?

We know Holys prime and we know him at his best. Have we seen the best of Haye or is it yet to come?

If Haye is or is not in his prime right now really matters none...He had made comments on several occassions and had compared himself to Holyfield on several occassions...Actually he had directed toward himself being a level above Holyfield at the same stages in their careers...Just to be fair I went with prime...A fighters prime can last for different lengths...some 1 year other 5 etc...

Also tried to give some leeway that Haye is not as arrogant enough (Though you never know) to actually think that he is better then Holyfield at this point of the game and he has yet to peak...As Holyfield enterd the HW division he was at the start of his prime....thats how the whole prime vs prime came about

You bring up an interesting topic when is a fighter at his peak. Take Archie Moore was it when he was loosing to Marciano. Or when Charles Burley and the likes were beating him. If you were listening to Archie it was the latter.

Not too long ago Haye was an overrated, chinny, no stamina, beat by 50 year olds shit cunt.

Now he has fans asking how he matches up with a prime Holyfield. Bet that would make him feel proud

Holyfield looked a beast at cruiser and thats when he came on my radar, I remember him taking quite a few shots on the way but he always dug in and fired back the Bowe fights at heavy had me on the edge of my seat all fight long. Thought he lost a bit of every thing after those wars with Bowe as for compairng him with Haye with both at cruiser IMO it would be an exciting fight while it lasted 70 - 30 in favour of Holyfield. If they faught today Haye would cream him inside 5 rounds. Holyfields a legend who should hang em up, his got loads and loads of cash be nice to have a brain so he can spend it.

Haye has yet to hit his peak, you would hope.

Holyfield at Cruiser was the best fighter around ever, excluding the great smaller heavyweight like Rocky and Patterson. And even then you could make an argument.

Peak Holyfield? Was it when he first became champion, the he was up there with the greats but could be beaten as Bowe showed. Was it when he beat Tyson and unified against Moorer, he was a lot bigger but slower and could be beat as Lewis showed.

Excellent point...Though in some cases it is rare...Though it usually does not happen after a fighter is in the sport that ling then moves up a division....

Lennox Lewis got better the longer he was in the sport but it was more maturity and ring smartness rather then his peaking

There are plenty of fighters who peak at later ages. Winky Wright, Glen Johnson, we could come up with plenty more....

I really like Haye alot and feel that his endless banter is nothing more than him trying to create the attention he needs to make a big splash, and guess what? Its working

Holyfield is my favorite fighter of alltime and specialized in taking fighters into the deep waters and drowning them late.. His desire and capacity to ignore and push past the pain for a Cruiser-Heavy was remarkable. He is a once in a lifetime fighter and I feel lucky for being able to witness his greatness, he's a polarizing figure and a great source of inspiration....

With that being said I think Haye knows in his heart of hearts that he dosent measure up to Holyfield at this juncture, but is outrageous just to get attention

Sweet, get your point but I remeber the likes of Winky in the late 80s and technicaly he was as good then Daxx is near the truth experiance you get with time some good some bad depending how it goes thats the direction you go theres a lot of pitfalls out there.
