It may or may not help you but check your pillow height. My chiro told me to make sure it allowed my neck to be level with the rest of my spine and if I slept on my back to support it so that my head didn't roll back diagonally.
Sleeping seems so dangerous when you begin to learn all the ways you can mess yourself up by doing it wrong and I find some of the bad things I do are habit now too!
