    Round 2
Jeff Mayweather tells Forbes that he needs to steal every round at the end. Interesting, not in Oscar's building I don't think. Oscar comes out with a low jab early and Forbes lands a short right over the top of it. Oscar seems a bit ignited and jumps on Forbes with combos downstairs and upstairs. The intensity level has picked up for Oscar and he is piling on Forbes who is in a shell. Not much landing upstairs but the body work is nice. Forbes come back with a right uppercut through De La Hoya's guard and now Forbes amps up his attack. Not much lands. Oscar comes back again and again fires away on Forbes who is in a shell. Good hooks downstairs but nothing up top lands. Forbes is trying to wait out these combos of De La Hoya and he's coming back with spurts after. Unfortunately for Forbes, De La Hoya is the more active fighter early on. Good round for De La Hoya.

I don't think Forbes will win but he is a hell of a nice guy and I just want him to have a good showing end the bout on his feet....

I always wished Oscar fought Wright at 154...He would have been beaten worse the Tito was

    Round 3
Now let's see if De La Hoya will ride that momentum. Oscar now landing with the jab up top and almost every time he has thrown the jab this fight he has gone downstairs immediately, that is good stuff from Oscar. Oscar much more tactical this round moving forward with the jab and now he's starting to counter Forbes when Forbes opens up. A good left hook counters a Forbes jab and De La Hoya ends the round behind the jab. It looks like he's really put his foot down on Forbes I expect him to finish him soon. Forbes just poses no threat in there.

    Round 4
Oscar is exclusively behind the jab now and that's forcing Forbes to come out of his shell. Also, the jab is coming with company, he's doubling and tripling of it. Forbes wants to fight now and is winging shots and backs Oscar up to the ropes. He's trying to move Oscar back but can't. A couple of good short rights for Forbes. Forbes reminds me of Andre Berto the way he throws his jabs. Just an observation. Oscar needs to keep on with the jab, he didn't throw it much at all that entire second minute. Oscar connects with a right hand straight and Forbes starts dancing, he's showboating and fires a few punches of his own. He definitely isn't overhwlemed by Oscar and while I don't think he's winning, he had a very good last 2 minutes on the defensive end.

Stevei gaining some confidence...Doing a bit better...He just needs to be a bit busier and he will make this closer...not getting hurt but allowing DLH to get off and using his gloves as a defense too much...

GottA love Lederman and his ass kissing while scoring...

How do you have it Harold?

Oscar is not being very effective. Forbes is fighting a very good fight.
