I was having a hard time deciding who was more annoying Haye or the DJ....it's good to see that Haye has stayed humble and hasn't let a few good wins go to his head.![]()

I think Haye is a capital Tosser (though I can't say I know him), but Smash bought up a good point in that, wether Haye can win or not, he sure is in the game to fight the best opposition and isn't a ducker which we see so often, he brings the fights the fans want to see.
IMO he has a punchers chance against Wlad, and that's all. I'd give him a good chance against anyone else at the top at the moment, the type of fighter he'd really struggle with is a heavy version of a tough come forward fighter like Mormeck/Fragommeni since the Heavyweight version should be able to take the early punishment and finish him off, but i can't think of any of the current crop who fit that description. IMO the blueprint (for a guy of without a massive height advantage) to beat Haye is to take away his punching room and keep him fighting at a pace.
He's just picking up where James Toney left off at Heavyweight (trash talk wise). Personally I think the big guys need more trash talk to get things motivated, it is such a slow moving division. More fights more often, generate some excitement, put something on the line.
Look in 2007
Wlad - IBF Champ - 2 fights
Sultan Ibragimov - WBO Champ - 3 fights
Ruslan Chagaev - WBA Champ - 1 fight
Oleg Maskaev - WBC Champ - 0 fights
Personally I look forward to having Haye at HW, at least he gives us something to talk about inbetween fights.
Well there are mandatories and eliminator fights and hell Wlad had to pull out all the stops to get a unification fight.
David Haye brings nothing different to the table....if he was a DKP fighter then hell yes Don would move heaven and earth to get a tournament where he would be involved
I usually can't stand David Haye for his arrogance and the crap he talks..but he has proved himself now and it is a bit more warranted.
I also didn't like it for the same reason I don't like Anthony Small's arrogance and loud mouth..because it seems like they're trying too hard to be arseholes. They strike me as nice guys outside of the ring and just seem to be putting it on. My suspicions were confirmed today by my trainer who was once in a film with Haye who revealed to me what a really nice guy David Haye is. Same with Anthony Small, I work with one of his friends.
Also I didn't see much wrong with that radio interview...maybe I'm used to Haye nowbut I thought he showed Charisma and a fairly good sense of humour. E.G, When they played his entrance theme vs Enzo. We need more charisma in the heavyweight division seeing as there aren't any characters there what so ever. I'm split on Haye. Part of me wants him to get knocked out due to his arrogance but another part of me know's that he'll be good for the heavyweight division because everyone can agree that it needs a damn good shake-up!
