My first encounter with the JW's I was sitting in my living room, and my dad right out of the blue, starts taking his clothes off, right down to his underwear. Not a pretty sight. We are sitting there going, wtf?!?!

He is looking out the window as he's doing it, and goes, "mind your own business."

Soon comes a knock on the door, and he opens it and they are standing there with the Watch Towers, and he is smiling and scratching hisself in nothing but his underwear. lol

Worked a charm. then quickly left and we haven't seen em since.

JW visits and pamphet pushing house to house is extremely common here.

My Mam said it happened a bit a few years ago here, but I've never met one.

If you try to be funny or pretend that your not home, they come back cause they assume your not there, or if you take the literature to be nice of course they will comeback cause they assume your interested... I always preferred that people tell me no so that way I could concentrate on someone whao was intersted

I actually believe in it all, but just dont want to live up to the standards... I am hypocritcal in that sense were I do all the holidays and birthdays with my fiance' stepkids and my family but I dont believe in it...

I don't think that is necessarily hypocritical, unless you are leading a lie and pretending to live to the standards, and preaching it's word.

It's official. I'm past my prime. 21 years old and still never had a girlfriend. But WHO CARES? I've got my commercial drivers license, and soon I plan on getting my pilot's license as well.

Still, it's too late for all those making out parties that younger kids usually do...

You sound like you keep yourself busy, which would explain a lot why you are still waiting. Don't ever worry about rejection if you are shy. You will discover that rejection and humility from women happens to all of us!hehe
