Witter is a plank. Ive always said Hatton beats him. Hatton stops that version of Witter.
Hopefully Hatton: Witter is out of everybodies system now.

He was reading the headlines way before the fight. He looked so far past Bradley and lost track of what is most Immportant....the hungry fighter standing in front of him looking to ruin his day.Bradley did not have the luxury of preening over his maybe/maybe not next big fight and posturing for the cameras.Witter has skills and a style that causes headaches, but last night he was out fought and Some flaws were glaring...Defense,looked slow, head waaay up high on the inside, little initiative. He has a tough comeback ahead Imo.
A lot of (justified) pent-up, angry gloating from the Hatton fan club after last night's fight. Justifiable because I'm sure the lot of you were probably sick and tired of the "Hatton is ducking Witter" storyline. But tell me....
Wouldn't you'd rather have it been Hatton, instead of Bradley, who did the job?

Hatton actually didnt have any reason to share a ring with Witter. He was a load mouth who bosts of knocking out a shot Harris. He barely beat Lynes and apart from being Kotelnik he has done jack shit. So to be honest if he was as good as he said he was, he would have beaten a young/unknown Bradley handily and moved onto Hatton. Hatton WOULD have faught him if Witter had got himself more of a name and more belts. But Witter is a nobody and he basically proved that last night, at 34 as well time is not on his side at all. But hes fucked it now, his only chance of getting another fight with Ricky is if he beats Bradley CONVINSINGLY and cleans up the weight class. But the chances of that after last nights showing are low.
Torres would blow this guys head off too, he cant handle pressure.
Granted... Witter is crap, and probably even Witter's relatives are changing their names. But when a loudmouth goes on and on and on, isn't it a bit more satisfying when your fighter does the honors himself, preferably ending with the offending loudmouth looking up at the ring lights?
I suppose in ways, but Hatton needs big money fights and apart from the people who really follow boxing, who the fuck is Junior Witter? He got a bit of recognition for load mouthing in the tabloids, but apart from that he was exposed last night. Hatton has reasons not to fight him, legacy and money being one of them. It proved last night that Witter would be fuck all on Hattons legacy.
True. Witter's probably reduced now to mumbling "I coulda been a contender" at local bars now. He'd better off retiring from boxing, and finding another line of work.
WTF mate, are you having a laugh ??
HE BROKE CASTILLO RIBS DON'T YOU REMEMBER!!! Would you get up after 10 after getting 3 of your ribs broke ?? don't think so
It was a perfect body shot that NO FIGHTER WOULD HAVE GOT UP FROM, ask Bob Arum, did you see what he said after the fight ??
How does Witter losing change the fact Hatton has ducked him all through his career?
At 34 years old it was only a matter of time before Witter come unstuck.
Bradley did what Hatton should have done. And his standing in boxing - especially Brit boxing - would be a whole lot higher.
Hatton would have ALWAYS gone down as the far superior fighter to Witter, but without facing and beating him the question remains....
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I think Witter show'd his age last night, he lost a split decision to a younger hungrier fighter hardly getting owned? some might say getting owned would be getting ko'd into the turnbuckleyour celebrating like Hatton ko'd him but the fact still is Hatton always ducked him

No Fenster the question doesn't remain.
Ricky Hatton's wins at 140.
Kosta Tszyu RTD 11 (Kosta was IBF champ, P4P#2 at the time)
Juan Urango W12 (Juan was IBF Champ)
Carlos Maussa KO9 (Carlos was WBA champ and KO'd a Witter opponent in Harris)
Jose Luis Castillo KO4 (Castillo was considered the biggest threat to Hatton at the time)
Junior Witter's biggest wins.
Andreas Kotelnik W12 (A guy who beat a blown up lightweight in Gavin Rees, big deal)
Vivian Harris KO7 (A guy who was also KO'd in 7 by a Hatton victim)
Colin Lynes EBU champ (Lynes could have got the nod some people believe)
Lovemore N'dou (Yes he beat him...and....)
Hatton has the best wins BY FAR at 140 pounds at it is evident Witter needs Hatton, NOT Hatton needs Witter![]()
You and others have made Hatton out to be avoiding Twitter like the plague, what is so good about Witter ?? he switches his stylebig wow.
Hatton hasn't ducked him at all, even VD said he used it to hate on Hatton coz there ain't nothing else to use. Hatton-Witter would not be a big match, Witter is boring and has no credible opponents on his record, at 34 he made his debut on US television, that says it all.
Good day sir![]()
