Those punches were accurate and hurtful and you could see that last night. Some of the sting on those punches will cause problems to anybody at 168-175.

He cant wait for a long time for his next fight and im hoping its in the next 2-3 months so we can see him in his world title showdown. He showed respect to JC, that was good to see too.
He was fighting a Polish club fighter. If he'd sparked him in the first 30 seconds it wouldn't have been impressive, but he didn't even put him down in four rounds. That Polish guy wouldn't even be an acceptable sparring partner for a guy like Kessler, and Froch hasn't fought anybody near world class yet. When he does he'll be facing somebody with as good or better handspeed/footwork/power and with a far better defence than Froch has. Let's see how impressive he looks then.
He was fighting a third choice fighter, it wasnt his fault. That Polish guy had a pretty firm chin if you asked me, Carl was looking for a BIG shot to make it look better, if he had just gone for him maybe he could have ended it in the first. Hence why he threw that monster right uppercut...

As ive said many times before, he is stepping up, Inkin was the step up but he pulled out twice. Whoever he fights next will be a step up because it will be for the WBC title. It's either JC or a highly ranked fighter fighting for the belt.
He bottled his chance to fight Calzaghe.

He'll get the belt given to him and will make a first defence against somebody not much better than the Polish tomato can, but eventually he'll have to face somebody world class and then we'll see how good he is.

And Carl Froch didnt personally ring up Calzaghe and ask for a fight? He WANTS the JC fight more than anything! How much of a dumb post was that really. Have you even looked at the WBC top 15? there are a lot of fucking hard fighers in there and would test Froch. But can you not read, he was suppose to fight Dennis Inkin last night but he pulled out twice and then an Amercian pulled out. To even fight was good enough for froch to be honest.

He was given the opportunity to fight Calzaghe a year ago and bottled it. The phone call on ITV was just a bit of pr for Froch.

It's easy to look like Sugar Ray Robinson against fighters like that Polish guy. It's when you move up in class that you discover how good fighters are, and Froch hasn't fought anybody near world class yet. His last two fights were a club fighter and a porn star. Let's see how good he looks against a full-time world-class fighter in his prime. I think you're in for a bit of a shock when we do.

I think your in a bit of shock to be honest. If that was a carl froch barely trying last night, looking for one shot to end it, I cant wait to see a Froch being at his A game. He will up his game a lot against a better fighter and you know that for a fact. So you cant really say he would fight like that against a better fighter to be honest. He will feel a lot more pressure and we will see the best of Froch, he can only get better and he is doing that.

He didnt bottle the fight at all, he faught Peter Manfredo instead...

Because he's never fought anybody near wotld-class, we have no idea how he'll handle the pressure of fighting them and no idea if he'll be able to up his game. He may crumble completely, which is the impression I get from his interviews. I really feel that he doesn't believe in himself against top guys, which is why he's 31 and still hasn't stepped up and why he bottled the Calzaghe fight.

Can you not actually read or something? He was suppose to fight INKIN who PULLED OUT TWICE! he is top ten. BERRIO also didnt want anything to do with Froch either, who would have also been his hardest fight to date. He has been a pro for 5 years, he is getting a better record and pushing up against better fighters from now on. INKIN was the better fighter, can you not see this?? He is GOING to fight better fighters in a matter of time. Just wait.

Almost making it into the ring with another fringe contender doesn't count as an actual fight. When he actually gets in the ring with a world-class fighter we'll find out, won't we? Until he does we can only speculate. But the way he bottled the Calzaghe opportunity tells me all I need to know about how he really feels. I wouldn't be surprised to watch him melt down in the ring when he finally does get in with somebody good.

Yeah I didn't see it. He was slower then ever, open and wiiide and he puts punches together absolutely awful. Honestly you can't convince me that his combos aren't garbage, he puts his punches together terrible and anyone with any sort of speed and not afraid of Froch is going to be able to hit him and it's not like it's hard to see his punches coming.

I would like to see Froch - Dirrell.

Actually I've seen about every Froch fight there has been over the last few years including last night but hey, whatever you want to believe is fine. If you really think Froch impressed last night and is ready for everybody in the division then I suggest watching the rest of the division.
