I honestly 100% cannot give a viable reason why audley harrison should be given a title shot other that the distinct hope that in with "international class" oppo for the 1st time may just get the best out of him and make him come out of his shell.

world championship boxing is a business before anything else, in particular with the WBC. It has been that way for years and will remain so.

Warren has the cash, the venue and the fighter - peter has the belt. You dont need to be a great mathmetician to realise from a business perspective it makes good sense!!

This is a keep busy fight before Vitali. I hate Peter, but Skelton is a decent opponent for a gimme, even though he has zero chance as he has zero snap in his punches, he should stick around for a few rounds.

Audley on the other hand, he should have retired and will look stupid against the limited but strong Peter.

The hell with Vitali he has wasted boxers time and our time announcing his "comebacks" only to keep pulling out. Plus if he won a title it would make the Heavyweight division even more of a mess, because the two brothers obviously wouldn't fight each other and we wouldn't get no unification. So i hope Vitali stays retired and lets his brother try and clean up the Heavyweight mess.

I was just saying that on that particular night to your average observer who hadnt seen his shananigans(sp?) before, he would of looked the part.

6 foot 5 odd, excellent physique, good reach. If only he never punched like a feather duster he`d knock every opponent out before they made him look an arse......again!!!

We could go back and forth on this all day.

Im agreeing with you in the sense that audley has done nothing to deserve a shot at the WBC world championship.

But peter for financial reasons will want it. Warren/Harrison etc will be eager for the shot at the world championship, of course the fight fans get screwed out of potentially seeing a povetkin, maskaev etc getting a shot.

But thats just boxing. It happens from top to bottom through the divisions. Nobody ever claimed boxing was a 100% fullproof sport that rarely had outside interferences!!
