His only chance IMO is to catch Hatton with a peach on the way in, which is extremely unlikely.

I don't think anyone can honestly say this is anything more than a showcase for Hatton. Lazcano is a nice guy and may get some support for that, and people that are seriously anti-Hatton may cheer for him. But his chances are very poor.
Hattons chin in general is usually pretty firm.

Walked through some beautys against tszyu and got tagged more than enough against collazo.

Even with hattons weight draining and his recent illness i dont see lazcano throwing anything that ricky should be worried about.

My only fear for the fight is hatton not getting to grips with juans style and it turning into a contest whereby ricky has to make the fight as scrappy as possible in order to win himself rounds.
Hatton has a very good chin... People forget how strong Floyd is. By no means is he the hardest puncher(even close) in the div... But he hits clean constantly and has good pop on ALL his punches.

Hatton won't have a problem with Lazcano's power but he will need to keep it a scrap...

Most hatton fans heading to City of manchester stadium will be hoping ricky gets on him right from the first bell and turns the contest into an all out war.

I on the otherhand would much prefer to see ricky use some of his old boxing skills and not be afraid to float in and out at times even if it means he sacrifices a KO win.

Sheer agression will beat lazcano, it`ll probably see malinaggi off, but against your PBFs, cotto`s and margaritos ricky has to learn to alter his style every so often!!
