I have a hard time picturing anything that Lazcano could do to bother Hatton. He may win a few rounds, but he doesn't have the power to slow Hatton down, he doesn't have the speed or accuracy to come out on top during inside exchanges or to catch Hatton on the way in.

His only chance IMO is to catch Hatton with a peach on the way in, which is extremely unlikely.

I don't think anyone can honestly say this is anything more than a showcase for Hatton. Lazcano is a nice guy and may get some support for that, and people that are seriously anti-Hatton may cheer for him. But his chances are very poor.

Hattons chin in general is usually pretty firm.

Walked through some beautys against tszyu and got tagged more than enough against collazo.

Even with hattons weight draining and his recent illness i dont see lazcano throwing anything that ricky should be worried about.

My only fear for the fight is hatton not getting to grips with juans style and it turning into a contest whereby ricky has to make the fight as scrappy as possible in order to win himself rounds.

Hatton won't have any problems turning it into a scrap, Hatton does have a good chin, but everyone has that chance of getting caught just right to go good night. Like I said it is unlikely, but it is Lazcano's only chance, he can't win the in or out fighting IMO (although there shouldn't be much outfighting anyway).

Yes cause Frank Warren always puts his fighters up against the best
Look man, here's what's gonna happen, Khan is gonna fight washed up and hyped up fighters, until Warren can either buy a vacant title or will it to someone who has done next to nothing, said person "B" will then magically have Khan as his Mandatory though he will not have beat anyone in the top 10. After Khan goes through a multimillion dollar sparring match and holds a strap you will claim him as a "Champion" which translates to us on this forum as a "Strap Holder". Khan will then sit at home and be force fed easy mandatory fights so everyone that works for Warren can say woooppeeee we have another undefeated fighter. There is no reason for Khan to have any hunger or desire to fight the best he already has his millions. OH and I'll bump this thread when he's still fighting "c" class fighters in a year.
