Marvin Hagler was a face-first brawler.

This was the KO punch in Marciano-Walcott I

This wasn't the KO punch. Just look at their positions in the ring.

Teddy Atlas "willed" Michael Moorer to the HW title against Evander Holyfield. Thanks, Legendary Nights.

Try watching the fight in full. Moorer slept-walked after Atlas begged him to fight with more passion.

Muhammad Ali was being dominated in Zaire doing the rope-a-dope before George Foreman tired. Nonsense. Ali countered him silly all night long, while blocking most of Foreman's shots, although some hard ones (particularly to the body) got through.

Willie Pep won a round against Graves without throwing a punch.

Yeah, I post there, ESB, etc...

This board seems pretty good so far with smart and reasonable posters, so that means I probably won't be trolling like a fool.

He does seem to go brain dead when it comes to predicting Calzaghe fights, but he was the only person on the board to call Quintana vs Williams right. He's had a few other good calls.
The only point I was making

It is also a myth that Dark Lord Al is a sane heterosexual man.

If he was a quitter he wouldn't have kept fighting vs Lewis after he was cut so bad.

vs Byrd he hurt his shoulder early in the fight and just couldn't continue...if you can't defend yourself (Vitali defends with his offense) then you shouldn't just let yourself get blasted for the remainder of the fight vs anyone no matter how soft they hit. Chris Byrd could hurt guys if he hit them enough

ESB sucks.....thinking Valuev and Audley Harrison would beat Wladimir.....they are fucking retards

Danny Williams carried on with one arm and it was early in the fight, why didn't Vitali try and gut it out for another 9 minutes ?? if i remember right it was only 9 minutes left can't exactly remember though, but he was well ahead on points, and its not like Byrd is going to KO Vitali is it ??

No, but Danny Williams didn't have his whole career infront of him did he? DW ain't exactly the smartest fighter out there. Sometimes it's better to live to fight another day which is what he did....not necessarily quitting...the guy just couldn't go on...everyone knows how injury prone he is if he feels he can't continue then hell he can't continue he knows better than anyone else.

Holyfield continued with a bum shoulder and look where it got him....it got his license taken away from him for a long period of time
