don't think there'd be that much hype because for the first fight they were both unbeaten, and alot of people thought Hatton had the style to beat Mayweather. Also if the fight had been close there'd be more demand for a rematch i.e if it was a split decision/close decision but Mayweather won pretty convincinly. Also there are other fighters than Hatton who deserve a shot at Mayweather and there fans would be pissed off if Mayweather was to fight Hatton again instead of them(Cotto, Margarito)

Dont get me wrong!I would love Mayweather to fight Cotto after all he's the Mandatory challenger! If theres two fighters to stop Mayweather unbeaten record it'll be Hoya or Cotto i reckon.Still i still reckon Hatton rematch fight would gather tonnes of interest weather Mayweather remains Undefeated or not from the Hoya fight in Septemer or the long awaited fight with Cotto.

yeah true with Hattons fan base I guess his big fights will always gather
big intrest, Im not sure the Americans will buy into it which might cause a problem, still if Mayweather was to go to England to fight him I know I'd be on the way over to watch

I don't think the fight should even be sanctioned. It's not only a complete mismatch but Hatton would clearly only be performing for money so technically a form of prostitution.

Hatton offers to humiliate both himself and British boxing by agreeing to let Floyd 'turnbuckle' him again this time in front of 50,000 British fans.

He's no different from the fat girl at school who lets the lads finger her in exhange for money to buy a mint Aero.

90,000 loyle fans in the new Wembey over in the U.K will witness a great performance of the HITMAN next year at the rematch.90,000 not 50,000.

That's even worse not better. Why do you want us as a nation to suffer an embarrasment on that scale?

90,000 screaming British fans silenced as Floyd gives Ricky another check hook, this time bouncing Hatton off two corner posts and then out of the ring into the lap of the HBO commentary team.

At least Violent D would have his avatar set for the rest of 2009.

Guys you can rip on me because I fight with some morals and ethics...no I don't use gloves and no there are no refs and no I don't go out looking for street fights either.

Even Kimbo Slice when he was beating up bums in backyards and parking lots wasn't going to kick them or hit them when they were down.

I'm sorry but I don't believe any of this "street fight" bullcrap...as I said before when was the last time you saw two grown ass men in a street fight kicking each other?

If you can't win with honor then what's the fucking point?

All these people who are so taken with MMA and say how it's "the closest thing to a street fight" are probably the same kind of people who don't see anything wrong with 8 guys jumping one harmless little guy and beating the life out of him.....if I have to fight someone then I am going to do it with my fists!

You feel free to fight like a sissy if you want to...it's not going to make your tribal tat any cooler

Dumb argument since Kimbo fought for money and they had a gentlemans agreement on the rules, so it was sorta like an organized event

If you have the ability to defend yourself and use your feet, elbows and knees whats wrong with that... 2 summers ago I fought and beat a Bouncer of a strip bar who was giving me shiit outside the place, I set him up with a Thai leg kick got inside of him landed a few elbows and had him up against a car landing knees on him until he gave up.

I dont see the relevance of bringing a gang fight into this Call me a sissy all you want but If I am forced to defend myself I choose to go home to my family and live another day

The majority of street fights aren't going to be a "fight to the death" so stop being so fucking dramatic about it!

If people REALLY want to fight they will do it the right way....for the most part they aren't going to want to fight unless they have some psychological issues which need some working out via a good ass whipping.

You can fight however you want to...I fight the way men fight and not little assholes who took tae kwan do/juijitsu/karate classes when they were growing up
