I don't see why Buddy is to blame here.

Maybe Paulie just isn't that talented of a fighter to begin with, and then he didn't bother to properly prepare for the fight. That's on Paulie, not McGirt.

No doubt!! Didn't they say McGirt was upset because Pauline broke training camp to go train in Sicily for 2 weeks? A trainer can only do so much, the rest is up to the charge. No telling how much time was wasted getting that silly hair-doo put together
