Well I wasn't trying to be an a##. You gotta look at it this way: If you put a jaguar in front of an elephant that was mad, he would take off like a shot. Put a pit bull or 16 pound patterdale in front of one and they are stupid enough to try and grab it. That's fearless. A jaguar hunts prey that will barely fight. Unfortunately a pit bull has been bred to love combat. There is a big difference. I still wouldn't f#ck with a jaguar though
a while back, i saw a video of a jaguar walking directly into a path of a tiger. Unknown to the jaguar and tiger they were about to be face to face. at the moment the tiger saw the jaguar it killed it in ten seconds, it must of not wanted it to compete for preys around. the jaguar didnt seem to run though, maybe it was fearless against the tiger or was just suprise.
No telling why it didn't run, but wouldn't have made a difference anyways. Cats will alot of times stare down each other to see what happens. Jaguars can get to 400 pound, but the average is about 250. A tiger can get to like 6 or 700 pounds. So the tiger knows he can kill it. If the sizes were reversed, it would have been the opposite. A rooster, pit bull, they don't bluff, they go right to work. They're too brave for their own good. I would love to know why a jaguar and tiger were even together, as they are from different parts of the world. Unless it was a leopard, as tigers and leopards live in India. Leopards are even smaller.
