It's not that I don't agree, you all are just lieing. Living in a fantasy world where Hatton wasn't hurt in the 10th, where the ref didn't bail him out... I will be the first to say I don't think Lazcano was going to knock hatton out right there regardless of what happened, but to deny the bias of what went on is an awesome injustice towards boxing.

I'm not lying. I think he was buzz'd. I don't think he needed bailing out because he had recovered by then.

Lazcano wasn't about to KO him because i don't even think Lazcano knew he had him hurt.

The ref didnt BAIL HIM OUT ffs.

Hatton if anything was the dominator in that round and to suggest he was on his way out is absurd.

Hatton beat lazcano all ends up and at no point did it seem any other way.

If you cant handle having a brit ruling a division tough shit!!

Tell us how crap calzaghe is and how lucky a fighter lennox lewis was. We all know the truth!!

for the record I am a very big Hatton fan. The only fight i have flown to see was Hatton v. Urango. I have always been a Calzaghe fan, even when he beat Lacy. The only time I have ever criticized Joe was when he did his dumb ass showboating (like against Sakio Bika). It almost cost him. I favored Calzaghe to beat Kessler.
I have always said that lennox Lewis was under-rated. That is a silly argument you have made.

its quite obvious youve only seen hatton-lazcano once in which case you were either stoned up to your eyeballs or watching from behind the sofa.

Download the fight and watch it in real time hatton is in as little danger as a fighter late in the 10th possibly can be.

Im not angry because you disagree, im pissed off because your thick and stupid enough to neg rep someone for having an opinion and chose the guy who could serve back the least neg rep because thats how pityful a man you really are!!

Hatton was rocked in the 8th and in the 10th.Its no secret That He is susceptible to lefts hooks.Just as lazcano was warned for chopping down on Hatton,Hatton was at a 90 degree angel and walked Lazcano into the ropes when ref stepped in.

I do not think Lazcano was about to KO Hatton but the Lace was a factor and Hatton worked the ref who reacted to Hatton's gestures on occasion.......Hey,Thats using circumstances to ones advantage. Can not knock him for that.Hopkins takes a over acting knee,Some guys 'forget' the mouthpiece coming out,etc......s!!! happens. The ref is the final arbitor over all.

Look the only difference in you and I as a Hatton fan is that I am a generally objective fan. I call it how i see it. I want Hatton to win, and he fairly dominated the other day......over an opponent who was hand picked for such a homecoming.
But I want a decent ref, I want reflective scoring, (I don't like German boxing because of robberies), the sad thing is I don't think Hatton needs these things to win against the Lazcano's of the world, but to say that the ref didn't act with particular bias and went along with Ricky's suggestion after Hatton was hurt is wrong.

Alright boys, I'll be the first guy to say it to Ono.

    "Your blind dude."
His legs were fine, his eyes were clear, he was still coming forward. I've seen every single Ricky Hatton fight and i just dont think he was that hurt. Not even close to being knocked out.

I think you're either influenced by commentary or you've never seen hatton in trouble before.

He was hurt against Vince Phillips (4th round, badly), hurt against Eamon Magee (2nd round) and he was in trouble against Collazo in the 12th especially. The 10th doesn't even compare to them 3 occassions (on all 3 occassions he didn't even go down. To say he was on the verge of being Ko'd (as some are saying on here) is ridiculous.

Also the ref had to break the fighters up as Lazcano was pushing down on his head and hitting him at the same time. Lazcano looked in far worse condition at several times during the fight. Not saying the shot didn't buzz him, but i never got the impression he was particularly hurt.

Hatton was hurt in the 10th, no denying that. But this is boxing and and getting buzzed is part and parcel of being in a fight. I really dont think Hatton was on the verge of giving the fight away. No way.

The poster who mentioned the commentary is quite right. I havent watched the fight with English commentary yet and while watching wasnt unduly bothered by what was happening in the 10th. A sticky moment and Hatton seemed to be okay as the ref stopped them.

And I have neg repped boozeboxer for that terrible posting on the second page. No need for that kind of crap. Keep it for the other boards.

From what i saw Hatton got hurt by the left hook and held, about 15 seconds later Lazcano held and hit Hatton with two left hooks to the body which are illegal, The ref broke them up and had a few words with him and then had hattons trainers tie his shoe laces.

Yep Hatton got Hurt Whooptie Doo, He wasnt in any serious trouble that was gonna get him Ko'd, and the ref didnt save his ass either he got buzzed with a left hook(Imagine a fighter getting punched and buzzed in a boxing match Hmmm who would of thunk it). Laz fouled Hatton and was holding down his head and punching Hatton had recovered.... Its pretty cut and dry. I mean I was on Holiday the past three days and when I signed on this morning, I saw a few posts and threads with this big Ado about his life and death struggle in 10th round, and I must say.. GIVE ME A GOTDAM BREAK ALREADY!!!

I never seen a fighter get slagged off so much for being #1 in his division for 3 years... He got Sparked by Mayweather, other than that he wins and is the undisputed lineal Ring#1 at 140 and has been for years... Lay off the guy already

from the clips I saw it was vintage in your face Hatton Boxing
