Thanks Pre!!! I'm so big of a fan of Pavlik that when Kelly beat Taylor the first time I emailed Team Pavlik if I can order a signed Pavlik photo. They emailed me back after 5 days saying that they just started selling autographed photo's of Pavlik on their website. I'm so happy I now have PAC and PAV's photo's on our apt wall.
Miranda is a great fighter by the way Bro too bad Pavlik was alot better.

It's a little annoying when people "hate on" fighters by using poor logic and bad comparisons.
I personally don't like Lennox Lewis, but people will say stuff like "he can't be great because he avoided a Vitali rematch" when greater fighters in the past avoided rematches to actual controversial fights. And they didn't retire, they kept fighting and didn't give those guys rematches.
Or when people knock fighters like Roy Jones or Floyd Mayweather, they'll use poor logic like "a true great cares about legacy and not money". Yeah boy, that Sugar Ray Robinson, he sure didn't care about money, it was all legacy for him.![]()
Some of the "haters" are the most fun to argue with.. especially when you checkmate them
This place would boring if everyone agreed.. or .. everyone settled their differences like sensible adults![]()
OH MAN! You beat me to it! I was going to say the exact same thing! Debates and arguments are a part of forums, but keep it on topic.
Though no one has said this to me yet, "you don't know boxing," "only a real boxing fan could see," "my boxing knowledge is much greater." I think that's so insulting. People join this forum because they love to talk about boxing, want to find out about boxing stories, and/or learn more about the sport. I admit, I'm not an all-knowing, but I know enough about it that I can post my thoughts and defend my statements. This is about opinions and just because one sees it one way doesn't mean everyone HAS to see it the same.
ALSO! I hate it when people stereotype others by their favorite fighters. I find myself having to always throw a disclaimer everytime I talk about Pacquiao. I've been into boxing way before his time as a fighter. I don't want to have to but I feel people will just label me a "Pacfan" just because my profile pic has him on it.
Sometimes it's fun to "hate", to see what kind of excuses and nonsense people will come up with to defend their fighters.
Some of my favorites:
"Trinidad only lost to Hopkins because of 9/11"
"Vitali's eye was cut because Lewis probably tampered with the gloves"
"Prime Lewis never could have beaten Vitali"
"Almost all of the ringside press said De La Hoya was robbed against Mosley!!"
"Wlad's loss to Sanders was not brutal, because it was a TKO and not a KO. A TKO can't be brutal"
"Wlad only lost to Brewster because he was poisoned"
"You just bash Vitali because of racial hatred"
Its easy to make dudes look like tools with the hate, i just wish they'd relise how bad it makes them look.
I think it was teh 11th ( cant remeber cuz it was sucha pathetic fight Ive only seen it once ) and Pac was hit with a right hook . He staggred over to the corner and the ref gave him loads of time. He was on wobbly legs and didnt wana fight on . I thought he was a coward for doing that . He had an old man infront him yet he wanted a cheap dq win.
Oh please...

First of all, that was the 11th round - judges had Pac comfortably ahead on their scorecards. Lmfao!.. and Pac wanted a cheap DQ win?
Second is, that was'nt the first time Barrera cowardly cheap shot Pacquiao. He should've been DQ'd for another flagrant unsportsmanlike conduct.
C'mon now. You know your boy has that bad habit....
